"Affordable, professional, and trustworthy, what more could you ask for in a mechanic? After having been a customer, and an even employee, at multiple shops across the area there are only a couple that I would recommend to others, or even trust to touch my vehicles. That being said, DC Auto Care is the only place I'll go to have my vehicles serviced or repaired as I know I'll be getting the best deal and can rest assured that the job will be done right. It's a rather small shop at the moment so you'll likely need to schedule an appointment, but if it's urgent they do offer roadside assistance around the clock. They even offer automotive lighting services and exceptional quality detailing! The owner has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions to ensure that my needs were met and expectations exceeded. If you haven't already been here, I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs anything automotive related. In these times it seems impossible to get anything done without worrying about breaking the bank or getting scammed by someone promising a lower price, but you'll never need to worry about that as a customer here. Don't just take my word for it, contact them for a quote and judge for yourself! "

"Shawn showed up in a reasonable time on I-5 when my daughters vehicle broke down in a rain storm. He figured out what needed to be fixed in minutes. He waited with her vehicle until a tow truck could deliver it to his small but impressive shop. Replaced the radiator the next day and fixed other issues that surely would have come up soon. Great guy, great mechanic, and cheaper than I expected. Contact this man if you have vehicle problems."

"Shawn was super helpful, went above and beyond to advise me by text late on a Saturday night when I was passing thru town and discovered a slight coolant leak. He offered to get me in on Sunday afternoon but I couldn't wait, so he gave me very helpful tips to watch and see if I could continue to drive safely toward my destination. He even suggested another mobile mechanic in the next town in case I needed help there! I will definitely use their services if I ever need them when I'm in town!"

"I was 203 miles from home, and Shawn, the owner of DC Auto Care and Roadside was the only one in the area with there phone on and answerd right away. He finished up with one call and then came to the rescue. Unfortunately he found out that the truck was most likely hydro-locked, but not sure why exactly. Because he couldn't give me an EXACT diagnosis or fix it there on the spot, he couldn't bill me! He suggested having it towed to his shop to tear the engine apart and clean the access fuel out of everything he then found issues with the thermostat and fuel injector along with a brocken solenoid. He replaced it all solinoids, plugs, fuel injector, gav it an oil Chang and flush to cover all bases. It then started and ran fine. So he sent me the bill and when I picked it up it ran a little rough once I got 30 miles down thr highway. He told me to take it back to him. He stood by his warranty and thought that maybe some screens got gunked up after the repairs. He went over every thing and during the test drive it was still bad! He went through a tedious trouble shoot with everything even the new parts a second time benche testing all the new parts and found that 2 of the brand new solenoids where bad out of the box!!! He lost some sleep and some hair but stood by his word and his warranty while understanding the importance of getting my truck back home. I can't believe the effort he put into my work truck and I'll never forget it. Thank you Shawn for strengthening my trust with mechanics, I have had some bad ones, and thank for being such an honest, caring and selfless human being 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 there the other 5 stars you deserve and mad kudos!!!"

Our family was driving over 3 hours away for a camping trip pulling our 28ft camper & when we were about 2 hrs from home something blew up on my husband's truck. Shawn was so awesome... answered our call while he was trying to grocery shop I think, seriously... dedication. What a guy! He was honest with us that our issue was outside his area of expertise (love that kind of honesty), but he 100% helped us find the people that could help! He really went above & beyond for us, even though we weren't going to be utilizing his services! He not only recommended places for us that could help, but when our service wasn't strong enough to contact them HE DID FOR US it was amazing... for some reason we could get through to Shawn, but not these other shops. He was making phone calls on our behalf, texting us phone numbers/names & business cards to get our family (of five!) off the side of the road, in the dark. He was able to connect us with a diesel mechanic AND an excellent towing company that honestly we couldn't have asked for a better experience with them either... amazing service, super friendly. We were all around blown away by Shawn's customer service & the level of care & customer service also from everyone he recommended.
